MyVanilla Card Monthly Fee/Account Maintenance Fees/Transaction Fees

Monthly Fee No monthly fee is charged on MyVanilla Card.
Dormancy Fee $3.95 per month This fee is charged if no activity (including purchase transactions, cash withdrawals, addition of funds to cards, or balance inquiries) is reflected on the account associated with the Card, for 90 days.
Signature Purchase Transaction Fee $0.95 per transaction
PIN Debit Purchase Transaction Fee $0.95 per transaction

MyVanilla Debit Card Cash Withdrawals

Item Fee Description
ATM Cash Withdrawal Fee (Domestic) $1.95 Charged whenever the Vanilla Card is used to withdraw cash from an ATM situated in the United States. Additional charges may be levied by owners of the ATM for each transaction.
ATM Cash Withdrawal Fee (International) $4.95 Charged whenever the Card is used to withdraw cash from an ATM situated outside the United States. Additional charges may be levied by owners of the ATM for each transaction.
ATM Transaction Declined Fee $0.75 Charged whenever a Card is declined during a transaction at any ATM.
Over-the-Counter Cash Withdrawal $1.95

Adding Money to MyVanilla Card

Direct Deposit No additional fee is charged.
Reload through a VanillaDirect Load retailer Up to $3.95 per reload transaction Vanilla Reload Network Retailer can charge a fee up to $3.95 for carrying out the transaction, in addition to the amount being loaded on the Card. The transaction fee is not deducted from the Card and has to be paid separately to the retailer.

Bank Transfer No fee is charged by MyVanilla. Transfer fees may be charged by the bank conducting the transfer. Directly transfer funds from your bank account to your Card.
Card-to-Card transfer through MyVanilla website (www.myvanillacard.com) No additional fee is charged. Funds can be transferred from one MyVanilla Card account to another via the official website (https://myvanilladebitcard.site/).
Card-to-Card transfer through Customer Care (1-855-686-9513) $4.95 Funds can be transferred from one MyVanilla Card account to another by calling the Customer Care service at 1-855-686-9513.
REmote check Deposit by Third Party- Ingo Money 5% Ingo Money may charge a fee of up to 5% of check value, while cashing a check to load your MyVanilla Card. This fee is not charged by MyVanilla and is subject to change. The mentioned fee is accurate as of 1 May 2019. Fee is deducted from the check value.

Money in Minutes charges 2% for pre-printed payroll or government checks and 5% for all other checks. The minimum value is $5. Customers can head over to ingomoney.com to obtain further information.

Balance Liquidation Fee $9.95 Charges for mailing a check after your Card account is closed. Customers have to contact MyVanilla to close their Card account. Checked will only be mailed after customers place a request for the same.

Pre-authorization Expiration Period ●      7 days for pay-at-the-pump purchases.

●      30-60 days depending on the type of purchase.

Merchants offering services with the possibility of gratuity or incidental charges may extract a preauthorization of 20%, on top of your charges.

After the settlement, usually a period of seven days, the leftover amount from the 20% hold will be restored to your available balance.
